Bill Pizzico has over 40 years of diverse food industry experience with particular emphasis on strategic go-to-market planning, brand building, and strategically designed sales platforms. As a writer and editor he has worked with Supermarket Business, Progressive Grocer, and multiple national food publications to include: Foodservice Retailing, a magazine he created with a major publishing group. He is also an author and broadcast personality in addition to being one of the original TV chefs.
Bill was founder and CEO of the Prizm Group, a premier food marketing firm with a diverse international client base that represented billions in sales and crossed the supply chains of both the retail and foodservice market channels.
As a leading professional in the "business of food" Bill’s successes have included laying the groundwork for a national distributor’s wholesale supply strategy leading to new acquisitions and hundreds of millions in sales…planning the "event" introduction of a new retail meat case concept resulting in scores of on-site orders and stablishing an immediate
market position…and creating the marketing framework to introduce a foodservice poultry burger into supermarkets, driving a thirty-fold increase in annual sales.
Bill served as adjunct professor at St. Joseph’s University in its Executive Food Master’s Program, as well as being a guest lecturer at many leading universities, food manufacturers, foodservice chains, and chef associations where he speaks about building growth platforms that elevate businesses to the next level of performance.
